The European Presence Research Conference will be held in the IPO building at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Eindhoven is a medium-sized city in the south of the Netherlands, and centrally located from a European perspective, with easy access from most large European cities. Eindhoven Airport is a relatively small airport which serves direct flights from across Europe (from London, Birmingham, Hamburg, or Paris). Eindhoven is also well-connected to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. There is a train connection from Schiphol airport terminal to Eindhoven, with one change at Duivendrecht station. This trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Detailed train information (departure times, platforms, etc.) is available from the on-line Dutch Railway domestic journey planner When arriving at Eindhoven Station, the Eindhoven University of Technology is at walking distance from the station's north entrance (i.e. take a right turn from the stairs leaving the platform), in north-eastern direction. If you prefer taking a taxi - these are located at the south entrance (i.e. left turn from the stairs). The IPO-building is located on the University's campus, about a 15 minute walk from the station. When travelling by car, from all motorways to and around Eindhoven (A2, A58, A67 and A270) follow the road signs with 'Centrum' (i.e. City centre) until 'Universiteit' (i.e. University) is indicated. There is sufficient parking space on campus. A small road map is located here. Booking of accommodation is the responsibility of individual delegates, and we recommend early reservations to ensure you get a room at the hotel of your choice.
